U.S.A – Explorer Program is a program for children who wants to become a cop in the form of a scout program. In fact, this program is an integral part of Boys Scouts America. It is during this program that the children were abused by various cops and high ranking men, in charge of the program. From the simple little cop to the senior division manager. It began first in Louisville, where the case broke out and spread to Atlanta, where more complaints were filed and spread throughout the U.S.A. if we note the complaints since the creation of this paedophile network. The first complaints were quickly put aside, the victims being almost threatened and above all, shamed by those in charge within the police offices. Several city officials and departments circumvented the law to protect the reputation of LMPD officers. Investigations and records were sealed . This program has been up since about 1973. RECENT COPS CAUGHT

  • Kenneth Betts – Sentenced to 16 years old for sodomy and child pornography.
  • Brandon Wood – Sentenced to 5 years in prison for sexual abuse.
  • Brad Schuhmann – Charged with sexual assault. The investigation determined that his salary was increased while he was under investigation on a sexual abuse charge. Still on duty.
  • Matthew Gelhausen – Accused of sexual abuse – Still on duty.
  • Julie Schmidt – Threatened a victim for hours to keep her quiet, verbal abuse. Still on duty.
  • Curtis Flaherty – Former Major, ran the program and supervised the LMPD Public Integrity Unit – the department responsible for internal investigations (conflict of interest) – Accused of hiding the facts of abuse by the 7 victims, not charged.
  • An officer who was a counselor in the Police Explorer Program in Cherry Valley, Illinois, had sex with a 17-year-old girl while on police patrol and was charged with five counts of sexual assault of a minor in February 2018. Her name is unknown. The link was archived on archive.org but the site removed it… (very rare…)
  • Joseff Keeling – were protected from being forced to give a deposition to the lawyer as a result of the lawsuit filed by their union. It is still unclear what the officers knew or how they were involved in the alleged abuses

THOSE WHO HELPED TO COVER-UP THE PEDORING

  • Steve Conrad – head of the LMPD, closed the abuse investigation in 2014 after Betts resigned.
  • Ellen Hesen – Deputy Mayor of Louisville, was briefed by Conrad in 2013 on the internal Betts investigation. Was informed by Conrad of the abuses in 2013 and 2014.
  • The Fraternal Order of River City Police (RCFOP). The police union filed a lawsuit in an attempt to prevent investigators from interviewing more cops.
  • Andy Beshear – Was the Attorney General at the time when “all copies of the investigative documents … were physically removed from the LMPD premises, digital cameras and servers.
  • Many others who were not named …
