Operation Corona Web

The Buenos Aires police conducted 110 raids throughout Argentina, including 32 in the territory of Buenos Aires and 21 provinces, based on a complaint filed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the states. Operation Inoccentia 

 45 police officers executed eight search and seizure warrants against six suspects identified after six months of investigation in cities in the metropolitan region and Vale do Sinos. A 41-year-old businessman from Montenegro was arrested on July 15. In an attempt to lose the police, one of the men even used the names of deceased persons. In addition, false profiles were used on social networks. Among those investigated, there is evidence of sexual abuse and, together with others, the exchange of pornographic material mainly involving children. Operation Jizô 

 This is the fifth phase of the operation. The action was triggered by five investigations opened by the Federal Police, based on complaints and information received from international organizations by the Unit for the Repression of Hate Crimes and Child Pornography in Brasilia. In Canoas, a 29-year-old merchant was arrested for storing child pornography, and two search and seizure warrants were executed. Operation “Deep Caught II”  

An expert conducted a preliminary search of electronic devices, a large amount of pornographic material stored on the accused’s computer was found, most of which involved children aged 3 and 5 years old. The first phase of the operation took place in May of this year and resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old math teacher, a 41-year-old real estate agent, a 29-year-old telecommunications technician and a 32-year-old business management student. After being arrested, the 36-year-old physical education teacher who was caught watching child pornography videos confessed to the crimes and stated that he had been undergoing psychological treatment for the past 8 years. He teaches in two schools in the capital. In the communal network, he has been active since 2008. At the scene, police officers also seized two notebooks and a cell phone. The teacher confessed that during the pandemic period alone, he had downloaded about thirty child pornography videos, which he watched at night and then deleted. ECUADOR 

Operation Galaxia 6 

According to initial investigations, the teacher via Facebook recruited minors by sending them friendship requests, among which were students from an educational institution in the province of Cotopaxi. In addition, it was reported that later, under deception, he asked them for photographs and videos of a sexual nature.
